UsUsing the Assembly Manager for ANSYS Workbench - e-Learning
The Assembly Manager for ANSYS Workbench is a customized extension available from ANSYS Inc. It was developed using ACT (the ANSYS Customization Toolkit). With the Assembly Manager you can deal with situations such as:
- Two engineers are using ANSYS Workbench to design components of an assembly using separate project files. Now they need to combine their models to analyze the assembly.
- A model is composed of several copies of a part or subassembly. The Assembly Manager enables duplication of the base part/assembly without the need to duplicate effort in the model setup (material definition, mesh controls, boundary conditions).
In this ANSYS e-Learning session, CAE Associates Senior Engineering Manager Pat Cunningham demonstrates how to use the Assembly Manager and discuss several applications for use.
