Rigid & Flexible Transient Dynamics Analysis in ANSYS Workbench - e-Learning

ANSYS Workbench has the capability to model the dynamic response of complex mechanisms with a variety of joint, spring, and contact connections.  Models can include both rigid and flexible bodies.  Rigid bodies and joints can be used to dramatically simplify and speed up analysis times.  They can be combined with flexible bodies and contact to account for flexible behavior and to predict internal stresses and strains.

CAE Associates’ Senior Engineering Manager Steven Hale demonstrates how to set up a multi-body transient dynamics analysis of a mechanism with both rigid and flexible parts.
