In a wide range of structural applications, the contact area between components changes during the load history. Properly analyzing contact interface mechanics can mean the difference between getting a result which matches reality and one which merely produces colorful pictures. For these types of nonlinear analyses, mechanical solutions from ANSYS provide robust contact technology along with diagnostic tools that can help obtain converged, accurate solutions. The goal of this online training course is to provide guidance through tips and tricks for obtaining a robust solution to your contact problems. Each topic covered will include examples of how to implement the different options to best achieve robust and accurate convergence using ANSYS Mechanical v15. Workshops are provided in this ANSYS training course to demonstrate features.

Online Course Information
This course consists of a 2 hour lecture session on Day 1. Day 2 consists of a two-hour instructor led workshop session and question and answer period. A total of 4 PE credits will be awarded for attendance, after the completion of a course evaluation.
Instructions detailing how to obtain necessary course files, including manuals and workshop files, will be sent to you upon registration.
Online courses are hosted using WebEx.
