Explicit Dynamics with ANSYS/LS- DYNA (Traditional GUI)

Prerequisites

B.S. degree in engineering or engineering experience. Introduction to ANSYS (Traditional GUI) or equivalent ANSYS experience is required.

Description

This course covers the theory and application of LS-Dyna, using the ANSYS User-Interface.  It is for engineers who need to analyze short-duration, highly nonlinear phenomena, such as impact, drop testing, and metal forming.

Attendees learn how to use ANSYS to build LS-Dyna models, including loads, boundary conditions, and material, geometric and contact nonlinearities. Several hands-on exercises are provided, to give the user practical experience using these ANSYS techniques.

Seminars begin promptly at 9 a.m. and finish at approximately 5 p.m. each day. Please arrive by 8:45 a.m. The seminar fee includes: course manuals, full color workshop manuals, & instruction.
