ANSYS Workbench Meshing for CFD

Prerequisites

B.S. in engineering or engineering experience. Basic functional familiarity with computers. Intended for users with little or no prior meshing experience.

Description

ANSYS Workbench Meshing for CFD is a one-day course, which teaches Workbench meshing modules and for CFD (CFX or FLUENT) analysis. This course trains the students on the use of ANSYS Workbench Meshing. The emphasis will be placed on generating a tetrahedral/prism mesh or a swept mesh for the subsequent CFD computations. The generated mesh can be directly exported into the CFX preprocessor (CFX-Pre) or FLUENT.

  • Workbench Meshing Modules
  • Swept Mesh Generation
  • Global and local mesh size setting
  • Mesh sizing functions
  • Tetrahedral/prism mesh generation
  • Mesh display
  • Named surface creation
  • Output to CFX or FLUENT

General Information

Seminars begin promptly at 9 a.m. and finish at approximately 5 p.m. each day. Please arrive by 8:45 a.m. The seminar fee includes: course manuals, full color workshop manuals, & instruction.
