ANSYS Structural Nonlinearities (Traditional GUI)


B.S. degree in engineering or engineering experience. Introduction to ANSYS (Traditional GUI) or equivalent ANSYS experience is required.


This course covers the theory and use of structural nonlinearities available in ANSYS Mechanical APDL. It is intended for engineers who need to analyze nonlinear phenomena such as large deflection, plasticity, and contact. Attendees learn how to model material, geometric, and contact nonlinearities and how to obtain converged solutions with accurate results. Several hands-on exercises are provided to give the user experience in solving nonlinear analyses using the latest ANSYS techniques.

General Information

Seminars begin promptly at 9 a.m. and finish at approximately 5 p.m. each day. Please arrive by 8:45 a.m. The seminar fee includes: course manuals, full color workshop manuals, & instruction.
