ANSYS Mechanical (Workbench) - Heat Transfer

Prerequisites

Introduction to ANSYS Mechanical (Workbench) and basic familiarity with heat transfer.

Description

ANSYS Workbench- Heat Transfer is a two-day training course for engineers wishing to use ANSYS Workbench to analyze the thermal response of structures and components. The course focuses on performing steady-state, transient, linear and nonlinear thermal analyses. Each course chapter is followed by "hands-on" workshops and exercises.

After completing the course, students will be able to analyze the thermal responses of structures involving conduction, convection, and radiation using the ANSYS Workbench Environment.

  • Fundamental Concepts of Heat Transfer
  • Fundamental Concepts of Simulation
  • Steady State Heat Transfer (no mass transport)
  • Nonlinear and Transient Analysis
  • Additional Convection/Heat Flux Loading Options and Simple Thermal/Flow Elements
  • Radiation Heat Transfer
  • Phase Change Analysis
  • One Dimensional Flow Elements in Thermal Analysis

General Information

Seminars begin promptly at 9 a.m. and finish at approximately 5 p.m. each day. Please arrive by 8:45 a.m. The seminar fee includes: course manuals, full color workshop manuals, & instruction.
