ANSYS Heat Transfer (Traditional GUI)

B.S. degree in engineering or engineering experience. Introduction to ANSYS (Traditional GUI) or equivalent ANSYS experience is required.

This ANSYS training course describes how to do steady -state, transient, linear, and nonlinear thermal analyses using the ANSYS software (Traditional GUI). Applications include internal combustion engines, rocket engines, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, furnaces, etc. Details of conduction, convection, and radiation heat transfer and how to analyze them are presented as part of this ANSYS training course, along with hands-on exercises.

Topics Include:

  • Heat Transfer Concepts
  • Conduction, Convection, and Radiation
  • Transient Heat Transfer
  • Phase Change
  • Thermal Contact
